Two brothers, one vision - about us

Alexander and Mario: two brothers with lots of creative ideas, a passion for the natural and sustainable raw material wood and a vision.

A product like 3D wall cladding is not created overnight. Many years of development and optimization passed from the first idea to the sale of the finished product. 20 years of experience in working with the unique raw material wood made it possible to develop, produce and market the wooden wall cladding in 2012.

A further two years of intensive and creative product development bore fruit in 2014. The first online store in Germany for wall cladding made of real wood was launched. The brothers' passion for sophisticated interior design combined with their many years of experience in the production of sawn veneers enabled them to realize their vision of decorative wall panelling made from fine wood species.

Both brothers are actively involved in the company and complement each other perfectly in terms of tasks and expertise. Alexander is responsible for sales/marketing and finance. Purchasing and in-house production are Mario's areas of expertise.

We love what we do - the wodewa team

Wodewa GmbH now offers a wide range of products and is represented in many different marketplaces. However, the basis for a functioning company and a smooth production process is a motivated team that makes a significant contribution to the company's success every day.

Wodewa is made up of the bosses and 10 other employees. Together we can achieve a lot. The wood is processed by our production staff, who cut the wood, treat the surface of the sawn veneer, sort it according to quality and cut it with a laser.

The competent employees in our own shipping department master the smooth dispatch of goods every day with their planning skills.

Because we are not indifferent to questions, suggestions, opinions, requests or even complaints, our customer service team of great employees is on hand to provide the best possible support before and after the purchase of our products.

Our marketing department and our expert for the entire online area take care of the presence of our products.

Not all wood is the same - our promise

Best quality

One m2 of wall cladding consists of a maximum of 100 pieces. Each individual product component is produced in accordance with our principle: "Demanding quality in every piece". Each piece is sorted by hand and all our employees feel responsible for the quality and represent our demanding philosophy.

Sustainability

Our products are made from natural, renewable raw materials. wodewa GmbH is actively committed to reforestation and supports the organization "plant for the planet". For every m2 sold, one euro is donated to plant a tree.

As we are a very family-friendly company and the entrepreneurs have children themselves, the future of our children and our planet is very important to us. With our photovoltaic system covering an area of 3,300 m2 , we generate a large part of our energy consumption from renewable sources ourselves.

To counteract the waste of resources, we use every veneer, however small, for the further manufacture of products (e.g. wooden mosaics, wooden letters, design squares, etc.). We also use pallets that we have sorted out ourselves as raw material for our vintage wall paneling and use chipboard waste to generate energy.

Harmless raw materials

We only use PEFC-certified raw materials and wood species and countries of origin certified in accordance with the European Timber Trade Regulation (EUTR).

100% Made in Germany

With our decision to produce 100% in Germany, we want to guarantee our customers optimum quality and retain full control over our product. We see Germany as our main sales market and want to produce and pay taxes in Germany according to ethical and moral principles.

We are personally available for our customers by telephone from 08:00 - 17:00. Our qualified staff will be happy to advise you and help you with any questions you may have. You can also contact us by email, WhatApp or chat at any time.

If something does go wrong, we will take responsibility and quickly find a solution. We always use constructive criticism to achieve our goal of constantly improving and making our customers happy.
