Typical natural wood characteristics and reactions to environmental influences in oak privacy screen strips:

Oak privacy strips are a REAL SUSTAINABLE NATURAL PRODUCT - Each privacy strip is unique in its structure and color. Natural wood characteristics as described below are evidence of the authenticity of the material and do not constitute a defect or reason for complaint. These natural characteristics have no negative influence on the quality of the wood. Screening strips are heavily exposed to the weather. Therefore, the following characteristics cannot be avoided even with careful material selection. Natural properties and deviations may occur. These biological, physical and chemical properties must be taken into account when purchasing a wood product and when using it outdoors. All of the following qualitative and wood-specific characteristics inform you about the properties of the goods you buy from us. They serve as a basis for assessing complaints and claims for replacement.

- Surface cracks (hairline cracks): Can occur over time due to the working of the wood.

- Water stains: Water stains can be caused by condensation or rainwater. They either disappear on their own due to weather influences such as rain, sun or by oiling the privacy screen strips.

NOTE on the double wire mesh construction types 6/5/6 and 8/6/8:

The first two numbers(6/x/6 or(8/x/8) describe the diameter in mm of the horizontal or horizontal parallel bars.

The middle number (x/5/x or x/6/x) describes the diameter in mm of the rods running vertically or vertically.
